New infrastructure ideas

These images are one representation of the type of network I had in mind. Tall towers which rise high above the earths surface creating a new more regulated surface with the addition of connecting bridges.

First week thoughts

I really like the idea of future architectural design. I think it is important for us as a student community to consider the possible scenarios we may come to face. Whether professionally or socially we will be dealing with our future earth and I believe it is important now to get into that head space.

Below are some initial sketches and ideas that I was thinking of during the lecture. I was thinking of the possibility of a global infrastructure and network where we as designers set the parameters of our future regulating them at our own pace. A way of gaining control while we as the human race still have a chance.
