The development of the roof was an important one as it would give the Hive its complete shell and tie in the architectural systems. In the above image solar/roof panels are aligned to face the Northern aspect. This looked effective from this view however still didn't give the overall covering to achieve the desired hive effect. The solar panels will still remain in some form however the roof will need to change to visually represent the nature of the Hive.
