Referred to from my tutor Cameron Thiessen, this TED talk explains the space saving and energy efficiency of the foldable smart cars. We came to the agreement that people will still want to drive cars in the future for a number of reasons. The main reason being independence. People love to have their own private space. While public transport is effective, this reason keeps a lot of people still on the roads. So with that acknowledgement these foldable smart cars provide an innovative way to fulfil this desire with giving the bonus of spatial, environmental and economical benefits to the community. I will implement this aspect into my design and narrative.
